AI-based test automation; the next generation of automation
Manual testing is becoming more costly and time consuming than ever before. Of course, there is test automation to speed this up, but you still need to wait until your application is ready to start the real automation. Nowadays, the ‘shift left’ is requested more and more, so even for test automation, it is not valid anymore to wait until your app is stable.
To combat this, we’ve developed innovative and automated software testing through exploring a new approach to Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this session, we will be showcasing VisionAI, the Neural Optical engine. You can already automate from a design, and when your app is ready, you can run immediately. Enabling you to do full automation and a complete ‘shift-left’.
Attend this webinar to understand how VisionAI enables coders, businesspeople, and testers to reach stable automation through the next generation of automation technology.
Join this webinar to learn:
• How VisionAI works. How a real neural network identifies all your objects, even from a design.
• How artificial intelligence can support companies in making a shift-left and speed up testing and automation.
• How to analyse the landscape of AI software testing technologies and understand how it can provide the greatest value to your organisation.

Twin talk from creators of test:fest conference
This interesting session of talks was delivered by Marta Firlej and Mateusz Holewski on the topics of ‘Developing Software Testing Community’ and ‘Disaster Recovery Testing’. They will look to share insight and best practices in these two areas of expertise.
Key Takeaways:
- Marta’s talk: How to support or create testing community in organisations, how they can boost personal growth
- Mateusz talk: Protecting business continuity through effective disaster recovery testing – planning, preparation and the challenges
Session 1 – Developing Software Testing Community
Marta would like to share with you a story of how Software Testing Communities were created in Poland and where they are now.
She will show you from her perspective how they boost her personal growth and influence her knowledge and experience. Marta will also share her story of how she created the test:fest conference.
She hopes we will discuss how to use her past experience to support or create community in your company.
Session 2 – Disaster Recovery Testing
During this talk Mateusz would like to present a different approach to software testing – a process that is not connected to the development of the application but to the business continuity.
A Disaster Recovery is a crucial service for many enterprises, when we perform DR acitivites we work closely with several IT specialists from system administrators, DBAs to software testers.

Accessibility, Inclusion and Raising our Game above Checklists
Accessibility is becoming a more and more prominent topic in Testing and Quality Assurance but do we fall into the trap of dehumanising inclusion with an over reliance on checklists and guidelines.
Speaker – Paul Alexander
In this talk Paul will look at the Purple Pound, Inclusive Design and the role of Testing/QA throughout the lifecycle of our projects in relation to accessibility. We will also explore how Inclusive Design and Accessibility go hand in hand and putting more focus on people and less on checklists will raise the quality and accessibility of our products.
Key Takeaways
- Accessibility should not be intimidating but embraced
- Taking a people first approach is key to success
- We shouldn’t rely on checklists solely when dealing with accessibility
- We can guide our exploratory testing more effectively

STG – Quality Engineering Instead of Testing… Why? How?
To continuously deliver IT systems at speed with a focus on business value, high-performance IT delivery teams integrate quality engineering in their way of working.
Quality engineering is the new concept in achieving the right quality of IT systems. Testing after an IT product was developed already was a thing of the past. But more is needed to guarantee the quality of applications that are delivered fast and frequent in today’s high-performance IT delivery models. The road to quality engineering means changes in terms of starting points, skills, organization, automation and quality measures.
3 key learning points:
– Quality engineering is the new concept aiming to deliver quality at speed
– By measuring the right indicators the team supports confidence in achieving pursued value
– By applying the proper quality measures and tools the team focuses on relevant activities
